My Story
Hi and welcome! My name is Minh Luong. I am a self-taught jewellery designer based in Geneva, Switzerland, continuously learning to hone my talents, in the art of jewellery design.
I design every piece of jewellery as a free-spirit, which is a way for me to bring my version of a better world – a world full of love, hope and kindness where we would all live reconnected with nature and our environment.
Every places I have called home, from the Parisian suburb where I was born to the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia where I grew up, had played a strong part in building my own sense of personal style and fashion.
In my previous life, I graduated with a Master of Laws in France and Australia. Most of that daily life had revolved around work. Then, an opportunity came up to move from Paris to Geneva.
The story of my brand MINH LUONG began during the pandemic when I left my corporate job completely burnt out. The practice of daily mindfulness made me realise I needed to live the life I always wanted. Through jewellery, I hope to bring purpose and beauty to this life – for ALL women.
Natural Gemstones and Quality Materials
All of my jewellery is made from the finest materials, with a unique combination of colours and textures. I use ethical 18-carat gold, and my jewellery is exclusively set with natural gemstones. As much as possible, I make sure that they have not undergone any colour, heat and/or surface treatment. Once cut/carved and polished, untreated gemstones reveal the stigma of their formation from inner Earth. I am greatly inspired by their multi-hued colours and beautiful speckles. Those gemstones are unique and simply breathtaking.
Locally made
All collections are handcrafted in a small atelier located in the heart of Geneva. Craftsmen with a long tradition in Haute Joaillerie are dedicated to make each piece of jewellery unique. I also surround myself with skilled gemmologists, and handpick amazing gemstones in Switzerland. This is my way of promoting the local economy and savoir-faire, as well as reducing my CO2 emissions.
Giving back to the planet
Philanthropy lies at the very heart of what I do. In partnership with Milkywire, I am committed to donating 1% of each sale to charitable organisations. I believe in transparency, and only select impactful, trusted and proven charities that are screened and vetted by Milkywire.
